Attention Mopar fans, this is a great find and I will be as honest as possible representing this car. The previous owner bought this car from his sister when he was 16 and he is now 60 and decided it was time to let it go. Approx 1981 he had a 318 engine rebuilt for it (unfortunately not the original) and shortly after that discovered a small area of rust in the cowl which is common to these cars and banged the front fender, so he parked it in his garage and there it has set since that day. According to him that is the only body damage to the car since new. The paint on the driver front fender is not in good shape as he stored the fender outside for a few years prior to bringing it back indoors. The rust in the cowl was repaired and there appears to be no rust anywhere in the entire car except minor surface rust here and there. The car was originally white but had been repainted in the late 70's and is quite chipped and scratched from serving as a self and storage bin in the garage but the body is very straight except for the small dent in the driver front fender.
The interior was a light emerald but was converted to black also in the 70's, it is still in great shape but has a 4-5" tear in the driver side front seat panel. The dash pad and door panels were recovered, the panels are in nice shape and the headliner and carpet was also replaced in black and are in very nice shape with no tears. The interior trim is in good shape and I think all there although the rear window trim in not installed
Most exterior stainless trim pieces are straight and shiny with only a couple very small dings and are in great shape except the headlight rings which have some dings in them.
The car has 4 new 225/14r radial tires on steel rims and has Dodge hub caps that are not on the car and are not orininal. It has a new fuel tank from Canada (not the cheap Chinese) and a new sending unit and filler tube gasket. A new brake master cylinder and rear wheel cylinders.
Per the previous owner the engine is a late 70's 318 that he had rebuilt by a local machine shop it starts and runs good and does not smoke. It has mild cam, new Holley 600 carb with electric choke sitting on a Edelbrok 4bbl manifold, classic Holley finned aluminum valve covers. it does have a duel point distributor that is giving me fits and I would throw away for a good old single point. There is also a lifter that makes noise on rare occasion upon cold start and goes away, most likely from years of sitting.
The transmission is a torque flight 3 spd auto with the classic and cool push button on the dash shifter, it drive and shifts well.
This car is sold as is with no warrantee, feel free to email with questions. The car is also advertised locally and this ad will be sold upon a sale if the reserve has not been met. The blue Oregon license plates will not go with the car.
